Jesse Zhou's research interests lie in social inequality and mobility, economic sociology, and causal inference methods. His current work explores how globalization and technological changes are reshaping social inequality and the role of skills in this transformation. Methodologically, he is particularly interested in causal mediation analysis and integrating machine learning frameworks into causal inference.
