Advanced Scholars "4+1" Program
**Advanced Scholars “4+1” Program enrollment is currently only open to University of Chicago students in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th Years in the College**
MACSS participates in the UChicago Advanced Scholars "4+1" Program. By completing the necessary requirements during your undergraduate study, you will be eligible to enroll in just a single additional year of graduate study and earn a MA in Computational Social Science. For more information on the program and how to apply visit the Career Advancement website.
If you’re interested in the Computational Social Science minor, know that completing the minor will meet many of the requirements for admission into MACSS as a part of the “4+1” program. Students interested in pursuing a College Minor en route to a MA in Computational Social Science are encouraged to reach out to the Associate Director of Undergraduate Studies, Jon Clindaniel, for more information on recommended undergraduate course planning leading up to their “+1” year.
