My research interest is in exploring how individuals and groups make meaning of the social landscape and how these mental states shape action and social outcomes. I’m particularly interested in the interaction between structures of identity and authority. My current focus is on understanding how issues related to individual and political identity around bilingualism shape access to and the distribution of resources within public education.
