Linda Waite is the Lucy Flower Professor in Urban Sociology.
Waite's current research interests include social demography, aging, the family, health, working families, the link between biology, psychology and the social world.
Waite's current research projects include studies on the Social Life, Health, and Illness at Older Ages (Co-Principal Investigator); Contemporary Families and Experiences of Work (Co-Principal Investigator); The Social Environment, Loneliness, Stress and Health (Co-Principal Investigators); Loneliness, Stress and Health in Aging (Investigator).
